The Studies

While there is hope that the worst of the pandemic is behind us, hundreds of thousands of new cases of COVID-19 are still reported daily around the globe. That is why it's so important to continue to advance not only prevention, but also treatment of COVID-19. These clinical trials are evaluating whether an oral study drug reduces the duration and/or severity of illness among people with COVID-19 or prevents the onset of COVID-19 symptoms in household members.

An Important Contribution

While there is hope that the worst of the pandemic is behind us, hundreds of thousands of new cases of COVID-19 are still reported daily around the globe. That is why it's so important to continue to advance not only prevention, but also treatment of COVID-19.

If you or a household member has recently been diagnosed with COVID-19, participation in one of these studies can be an option to consider not only for yourself, but as an important contribution to the global effort to move beyond COVID-19.

Joining a clinical trial is an important and personal decision. We hope it is one you will consider.

Be Represented

While everyone needs to be represented in vaccine clinical trials, it is especially important that these vaccine trials include people from the communities most significantly impacted by COVID-19. By choosing to volunteer, you will represent people like you - in age, gender, race, ethnicity, and from communities like yours. Involving people from all backgrounds will improve the development of this investigational vaccine for everyone. By volunteering for a COVID-19 vaccine study, you can make a difference.
